The grass is not always greener on the other side of the water, Michelle! I lived in Hawaii for 7 years. The same ol' weather every day starts getting monotonous after awhile. The mosquitoes, the cockroaches, the termites (munching away inside the walls, and even inside my piano),the high prices, not being able to get in the car and drive out in the country to get away from it all, the cockroaches, feeling island bound--especially since I don't swim, the cockroaches, the needing several showers every day, and did I mention the cockroaches? All kinds of them--big, small and in between, fast as lightening and dirty!
Washington. Hands down. The best place on God's green earth! :-)
Every day is a gift. I have the most amazing teenaged sons in the world. They are my reason for being! Living in the Pacific Northwest, I get alot of time in my gardens which are my sanity. But the winters are difficult because I am stuck indoors so much. As I try to change my life, and focus more in my creative pursuits, I am sharing everything with you. My three boys are growing before my eyes. Every day they are different. I am learning to treasure every minute we have because soon, they will be on their own. So, as I create, I also want to encourage them to grow in thier gifts. Men of Honor, that is my goal.
wish i was too!
